Father God said, “Before the beginning of time, I was alone and needed nothing. Then, I desired fellowship. So, I came up with the plan to create man. This plan required Me to separate without diminishing the two forms of Myself that function as the Word [Jesus] and the Spirit. These two aspects came out of Me, just as every human spirit emerges from within Me, created in My image.”
The Word and the Holy Spirit are Me, yet they function within the limited roles and boundaries I set for them. When Jesus said, ‘No one is greater than Father,’ He pointed to this fact—I am that I am [God has no beginning or end and does not depend on anything other than Himself for His continued existence].
So Jesus, the Word, and the Holy Spirit exist with assigned functions. Therefore, those who say that Jesus and the Holy Spirit have voluntarily taken on subordinate roles to Me are in error. This explanation is man’s attempt to understand the triune God, but now you have been shown the truth. They are extensions of Me—entirely God, fully themselves.”
How to Approach God
If we want to connect with God in a meaningful way, we need to approach Him with an open heart. That means we have to listen to His voice and be receptive to the unique insights that only He can give us. But, we also have to be aware that our egos might stop us from growing spiritually. So, it’s important to understand that we don’t have all the answers and to be open to learning new things.
Another thing that can help us strengthen our relationship with God is establishing a regular practice of worship, prayer, and Holy Spirit-guided Bible study. This way, we stay connected to God and receive guidance as we go through challenges in life. Ultimately, this connection brings us true peace, joy, and a sense of fulfillment as we live out God’s purposes for our lives.
