Angel Encounter

Curiosity about angel encounters is growing worldwide. Today, in the challenges of a locked-down society, the Holy Spirit highlights the importance of angelic ministry. So, get ready to take a glance into the captivating world of angels. May it awaken your spiritual senses to personal encounters with the angelic activity that surrounds you.

Angels stand in the holy presence of Heavenly Father’s great glory and carry His holiness wherever sent. They are spiritual beings with miraculous powers, superb strength, wisdom, humility, and purity.

The angels I’ve been blessed to encounter aren’t feminine in appearance. Instead, they are breathtaking armored-up warriors with muscular physiques. Their statures range from the height of a six-foot-tall man to skyscraper heights. So, for me, artists’ renderings of female or feminized angels don’t resonate.

Throughout the Bible, angels are mentioned over three hundred times. Many bible heroes, including Jesus, were helped and visited by angels. They perform the purposes of Heavenly Father and Jesus. Today, angels go with us wherever we go. They continue their extraordinary ministry to us by protecting and bringing divine intervention. And, their assignment isn’t complete until we go home.

Angels are ministering spirits

The verse in Hebrews 1:14 provides the key description of angels: “Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?” From this scripture, we learn angels are servants. That’s their job.

My focus has always been on developing a closer relationship with Heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Not on angels. I’ve never prayed to see an angel nor expected to encounter one. However, Heavenly Father, in His perfect timing and grace, opened my spiritual eyes, enabling me to recognize my incredible angelic visitations.

Since then, I’ve seen angels in action and received angel encounters. Then, on July 24, 2019, an example occurred when a majestic angel visited me to deliver a message. He was a tall, muscular, long sandy blonde hair winged angel wearing battle armor who stood before me. He said, “Tell others how we angels fight on their behalf. We surround them with a barrier the demonic can’t penetrate. We are assigned to them because Jesus commands us to.” Then, with his message delivered, he vanished.

According to Bible scholars, angelic beings have three groups in a hierarchical rank:

Seraphim

The highest order is seraphim, who are nearest to Heavenly Father. Their role is to worship and adore Him. Isaiah 6:1-3 NASB, “I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two, he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called out to another and said, ‘Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory.”

On August 11, 2018, Heavenly Father sent a brilliant seraph to me. However, before I saw its glory, I experienced an unexpected intense anointing in our house. Suddenly, the fire of holiness created by the seraph’s astonishing presence overcame me. My body shook, and I sobbed as I experienced holy fire penetrating my eyes, piercing into my brain and flowing into the rest of my body. No matter what direction I moved my head, the sacred fire was all I could see. This life-changing encounter lasted for approximately ten long minutes as it removed obstacles, hindrances and deposited a holy fire within me. Then, without speaking a word to me, the brilliant seraph left as abruptly as he came.

Archangels

The second order is archangels. Michael is an archangel and the leader of the angelic army. Revelation 12:7 NASB, “There was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon.”

On November 20, 2020, an exquisite angel glowing with Father’s glory and wearing battle armor as he carried a flaming sword appeared before me. I asked, “Who are you?” He answered, “I’m Michael. I’ve been battling on your behalf since you first saw me weeks ago. I conquered your enemy! You’re now free to walk into this season of your life. The prince of this region tried to stop me from coming to you with this Word: Your time has come to fight the fight set before you. The battle will rage, but you will overcome in the strength of the Holy Spirit. Father will empower many to join you. I’m assigned to you and will fight with you. It’s my honor to serve you.” Then, with his message delivered, this angel encounter was over. Michael vanished.

Angels

The third order is angels; guardians. Angels minister to us, protect us, and those protecting children behold Father’s face continually. Matthew 4:10-11 NASB, “Then Jesus said to him, “Go, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’ Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him.”

On February 9, 2020, I experienced another angel encounter. A dazzling angel appeared outside my twenty-floor hotel room during my divine assignment to Brisbane, Australia. He delivered this message, “I’ve come with a Word for you from Father. You’ve been obedient to come to this nation He loves. These people hunger for the truth. Their hearts are sincere before Him. However, the delusions that surround them entice them to join in for the acceptance they long for. Their souls feel like orphans whose parents abandoned them. Feeling like an orphan is the foundation of this nation. Father desires to set them free from these delusions and pain. Their freedom will enable them to walk in His ways of truth. Father sent you here to establish His rule and His love for His children.” Immediately, the angel disappeared.

After receiving this message, a door opened for me to share it with a local Pastor of a Brisbane megachurch. He received the message and confirmed it to be a Word from Father.

Angelic beings are not to be worshiped or prayed to

Only Heavenly Father and Jesus are worthy of worship. Angels are awe-inspiring, and there may be a temptation to worship them. But, instead, we are to acknowledge angels are here to help us accomplish Heavenly Father’s will for our lives.

Scripture doesn’t give examples of praying to angels. Nevertheless, Jesus entertained the possibility of angelic assistance but only by asking the Father. When the crowd came with clubs and swords to the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus made this option clear: Matthew 26:53 NASB, “Do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?”

As a result, angel encounters and their ministry enhance our usefulness in fulfilling our destiny. So, asking Heavenly Father for their divine assistance produces spiritual fruit within our lives.
